A quick tour of every way to throw paint.

Paint arrives by

How the paint gets to the canvas. Paintball fires a single aimed shot, cannon rakes a staggered volley across the disc, catapult lobs a bomb that bursts on landing, and the hose lays a continuous stream. The paint underneath is the same.

Physics

Spin sets the disc's RPM — change it mid-painting and rings turn into spirals. Splatter is how the paint breaks up on impact: thick lands as a fat coin, thin shatters into fine spray. Thickness is the medium — watercolor lets overlapping colors blend and darken, oil lays each hit down opaquely so colors stack instead of muddying. Splat size and droplets scale the blob and the spray around it.

Mood

A curated set of colors rather than a raw picker, so any combination still looks intentional. Single colors are tonal ramps of one hue, which build depth as hits overlap.

Controls

Press anywhere on the disc and the paint arcs to that spot and lands there. With the cannon, the middle barrel lands on your spot and the others rake a band to either side. Impact sound is a soft thunk (or a hiss, for the hose) on every hit.
